Wave-sushi interaction: Paranga, Camps Bay

2017-02-03

Camps Bay has a great vibe for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is glamorous, but not elitist. You will find all types of people and anything you may fancy is catered for. My favourite restaurant, again because it ticks all of my boxes, is Paranga.

Try to secure that table on the right in front:  you will be sheltered from rain or  heat yet enjoy the perfect view.  I would not recommend  agreeing to the table on the street, not comfortable you are only feet away from cars parking and blocking your view. Elevating your status by six feet of stairs means you will enjoy the colours of sea and sky  and the entertainment from street performers and passers-by.

Double parked the Maserati? A quick sushi is a sensible option.

The music is dreamy,  the staff are  enjoying themselves and make the best recommendations  for  catch of the day, mussels, princess lil sushi roll or a platter of delicious calamari and crayfish. Paranga also has an extensive wine list focussed on small  local vineyards.
