About this space
This spacious 2 bedroom is located in an exclusive block in one of Cape Town’s premium suburbs – Bantry Bay – known for its ideal climate – long wind-free, sunny days ending in dramatic sunsets over the ocean. Whale watch from a location high enough to allow for great sea views & low enough to hear the ocean.

The space
The apartment is very spacious at 120m2 and is on the 6th floor of the building ensuring it has premium ocean views.

Note about load shedding – we have just installed a backup system that will keep all your lights on and plugs working. Unfortunately cooker / Aircon & washing machine not included in this. Refrigerator also on on the battery system but it stays pretty cold within the 2 hr period of load shedding (the usual length power is off).

The living area is open plan and stretches towards the balcony and the panoramic views of Lion’s Head and the ocean beyond. The lounge is equipped with a 39 inch flat screen Smart TV with Netflix installed. The dining area is located conveniently next to the kitchen and and seats 6 people easily. The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances (built in refrigerator, oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher and washing machine). The entire living area has excellent sea views.

The living area has air conditioning, underfloor hearing and the sun blinds are automated. The door to the balcony opens completely and folds away flat against the wall, merging the living space with the outdoors. There is an outdoor dining area with panoramic views of the ocean and mountain.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms which both have ensuite bathrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size extra length bed and the bathroom has a double vanity area and separate bath and shower.

The second bedroom has twin beds and the ensuite bathroom has a shower.

Both bedrooms have built in cupboards and the sun blinds are automated. The main bedroom has air conditioning but the 2nd bedroom does not, however it doesn’t get the afternoon sun so does not get as warm as the main bedroom.

Each bedroom also has a safe.

The apartment block has a 24 hour concierge and the apartment has 2 secure parking bays allocated to it with direct access to the elevator. There is also unlimited ADSL wifi available.

The apartment block also has a swimming pool and BBQ area with a large built in table and benches. There are some wooden loungers at the poolside.

Other things to note
For monthly bookings we include 1 housekeeping service per week – additional servicing can be arranged for the guests own account.

For monthly rentals (28 days or more) we include ZAR 500 for electricity – any additional power used is for the guest’s account (loaded via a pre paid meter). Please note that monthly stays are highly discounted.

Please be economical with water as Cape Town has a water shortage problem

Cleaning Products/Detergents: We will supply you with enough product to last a few days – note this is a self catering unit.

Load shedding / Power outages: Note that Cape Town sometimes suffers from load shedding which means that there is a possibility of power outages from time to time .

We have put in a quite a large inverter / battery system where all your lights and plugs (WIFI, TV, laptops, chargers etc) will be on a uninterrupted power supply so you will not notice the power outage.

Energy intensive appliances like Air conditioning, washer, cooker and plugs in the kitchen for kettle etc will not be catered for.
